Tonights meeting was one of the largest we've had for a while. All in all we had a dozen or more people.

The discussion topic this month was of course club fees as a means of funding the costs of the club house where we meet and the internet connection (more can be found in this article ).

The last meeting was a bit of a mixed bag. We turned up to the club house and found some of the diving club members hanging around for various reasons - not the least of which was a new key so we could get access to the building. Consequently the meeting was slow to start.

This months meeting saw a lot of people installing or tweaking the latest ubuntu (7.10). Richard had gone through the pain of an upgrade last month (see this article) as had I, and wanted to show off the new features.

This was probably one of the most focussed meetings we've had for quite a while. At the end of the last meeting, Richard said he would like to have more control over his and his families email by downloading it to one location and letting them pick it up from there.
